Puffins at Party
SEA's Puffin Party was a howling success, in no small part due the the creativity of this devoted SEA member who not only got into the spirit of the party but became that spirit.  Can  you guess who is behind that masque???

   Shoreline Adventures

SEA is ready to venture into guided tour opertions.  A variety of tours are available with Intertidal Exploration and Seal & Sea Lion Watching as centerpieces.

SEA Docents who are well educated in the natural history of the area and familiar with a wide range of interesting places on the southern Oregon Coast are anxious to make your visit even better.

If you are interested in intertidal exploration you are urged to visit our page about the tides This activity is recommended only on the days noted on that page.

Tours for small groups work best if you ride along with us.  We then have more time to explain more to you.  But if you prefer to drive yourself, we have radios for communication between our vehicles.

If you are interested please click on the mail box below and send SEA a message about what you would like to do.  We will get right back to you.

Simpson Reef brochure is now available in German, French, Japanese and Spanish.

While retaining our independence SEA has signed an agreement with the US Fish and Wildlife Service to adopt the sub-title: "Friends of the Southern Oregon Coastal Wildlife Refuges." As a formal "Friends Group," we wear and display the FWS Volunteer Logo.

This new role allows SEA to maintain our corporate offices in the Bandon Marsh NWR office building at 83673 North Bank Lane.

Bunkhouse Volunteers

SEA has room for two  National Docents to live in the Bandon Marsh NWR Bunkhouse in exchange for 20 hours per week. Both of these rooms are currently occupied.

The bunkhouse is a modern 5 bedroom, manufactured home upgraded to Federal safety standards and completely equiped with a gormet kitchen, laundry facilities and two full baths.

If you have an interest in being a National Volunteer next year send an e-mail to Bill-R@SEA-edu.org  for more information.
