![]() A SEA Docent discusses the common murre rookery on Middle Coquille Point Rock. This spotting scope was loaned by US Fish & Wildlife Service to its "Friends Group." Since that time SEA has been able to purchase new scopes with grants from the Coquille Indian Tribe and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.. All the murres have returned to their pelagic winter habitat. We expect to see them again shortly after the New Year when they start to return to check out their favorite places. |
